About the Founder

I am not currently living in the nomad lifestyle. Many years ago I had the good sense to ditch my job, buy a backpack and head out on a Circle the Pacific backpacker trip. I only spent 6 months out on the road but it was enough to leave me wanting so much more. Life intervened and the only other major trip I took was to Iran for a month. I vowed one day get out there and just live long-term.

I am currently caregiving for my parent. After that I plan to get my affairs in order and hit the road. I'm engaged in a number of activities to keep me focused on a future and help me make it through this long chapter of my life.

I created the Facebook group and website as a way for us to connect, network, share resources and potentially meet in person as paths cross.
